This new restaurant opened about three months ago, and we were truly impressed by both the food and the service! My husband went last night and loved it, so ten of us returned tonight—and we were not disappointed. Don’t let the modest exterior fool you—the interior is warm and inviting, featuring beautiful handmade furniture that adds a unique touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and every dish we tried was fresh and full of flavor. It’s also a great spot for seafood lovers—the menu has several delicious options that are cooked to perfection. We highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s a hidden gem worth supporting. It’s clear the team behind El Marinero takes pride in their food, their flavors, and their presentation. Everything tastes homemade and deeply rooted in authentic coastal Mexican tradition. I just love this place! All of the food we got here was great, and the customer service was nice-the waitresses was very kind. It was authentic, fresh, and delicious. Clean inside, too.

I’m from Southern California and have lived in South Carolina for 3 years and until today have yet to find anything comparable. The cheese in my preferred enchiladas was real Mexican cheese. The tortillas were made in house and tasted like it. This is my new go to Mexican restaurant. First satisfying Mexican meal in 3 years.

Our food portions were huge, and delicious!!! The service was excellent, and the decor was as authentic as the food!!! Definitely would return!!!

My first time coming here and definitely won’t be my last. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Restaurant and bathroom was nice and clean. Great atmosphere. I did make my order to go. I got the beef chimichanga and BOY let me tell you it’s delicious!!!! 100/10

A clean, snappy, authentic Mexican restaurant. Real costal influence. They know their food. Pictured is their caribe bowl. Try their Res too! But not at the same time. Portions are generous. Tortillas- wonderful. Staff, attentive and professional. Bathrooms- worthy of the place. I highly recommend a visit. Warning- addictive!!!!
